Using Inbound Marketing For More Traffic

Inbound Marketing
Instead of interrupting your clients lives with old school advertising such as TV, print and radio, inbound marketing takes a different approach. The marketers create intriguing and thoughtful content and places it to the audience through the use of blogs and social media so that it attracts organic traffic to a website.
Inbound marketers require creativity to reach their audience. Remember, the targeted audience is inundated with creative and intriguing content from a variety of sources, but they have limited time in which to see these messages and digest them. Inbound marketing should therefore be creative, informative, timely, accurate and relevant to the target audience in order to achieve the intended results.

1. Use Of Multimedia

Having a step by step guide of the product is a good starting point. Marketers can also create a screencast using a web-based screen recorder such as Screenr. They can share this screencast as a how-to- video or show the steps in a series of photos.

2. Developing How To Documents And Tips

A how-to article is a great way to create useful information that users can read and enjoy the full benefits of a service or product. A how-to article or video can be used to illustrate common mistakes in an industry and how to avoid them, while at the same time putting your brand out there as an authority in the subject.

3. Use Existing Content

This approach is a great way to provide alternative views–and possible discussion points, for content in someone else’s article. You could also provide a daily roundup of relevant news from your industry or market niche that people can make use of. Another quick way to create high impact content is to find tips in various articles and put them together for your readers.

4. Use Other Platforms

There are various platforms that you can use to get your content to as many people as possible including creating a Slideshare presentation of information such as the statistics of your industry. This can be quickly imported into a blog post.
You could also ask a question on twitter and share the results on the blog with a Storify embed, collect tweets from a webinar or conference hashtag that you attended and show it off with Storify on your blog post.

5.Using Surveys

With the numerous industry based surveys out there, maybe its time you responded with your own unique angle in order to spark a conversation. One of the tools that you can use for free is SurveyMonkey.
